The Hotel Operations (HOC) certificate program is designed to provide comprehensive knowledge in hotel operations and hospitality services. The program provides participants with knowledge in front desk and housekeeping operations, along with supervisory and communication skills needed to succeed in this dynamic field.
Through interactive lectures, discussions, projects, readings and the use of educational technology applications, students will broaden their knowledge of the key divisions within hotel operations. Students graduate with specific competencies as well as the interpersonal skills required to succeed in any area of the hospitality industry.
A 30 hour externship is required. Online students are welcome to contact the school for assistance in arranging for an externship in Las Vegas or to request for an introduction letter for an externship in their home city.

Prerequisite:
High school diploma or GED (no experience necessary)
Offerings:
Classroom Learning -
Mondays and Wednesdays, 6-9pm, 12 weeks
OR
Online: personal instructor, 24/7 access to materials, rolling admissions
Up to six months time to complete, study at your own pace with dedicated instructors. The curriculum is divided into easily navigable modules, each containing lectures, quizzes, assignments and supplemental reading materials in addition to textbook learning.
There are no specific start dates for online programs. Students receive one-on-one guidance from instructors and each student can specify their own start date on the application form.
