Practical Training from Top Professionals
The International School of Hospitality (TISOH, pronounced “TEE-so”) is dedicated to helping students enter the industry as well as assisting current employees advance in their careers.

Founded in 2004 by professors from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), we offer practical training programs taught by industry professionals and university professors. Courses integrate theory, practice and on-site learning. They feature small classes with personalized guidance; short, intensified programs; and online learning options. Internships, networking opportunities and career counseling are integral components. We are recognized by most leading professional hospitality organizations such as the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE) , the Educational Institute at the American Hotel & Lodging Association and Les Clefs d’Or USA.

In the dynamic hospitality industry, education must be current and practical. Our curriculum is career-focused and emphasizes the application of knowledge. Our instructors are selected based on their ability to teach, their credentials and their involvement in the industry.

Classroom
Classes taught on campus revolve around lectures, class discussions, guest panels and case studies. In addition, TISOH students partake in hospitality internships and have access to career placement counseling and great networking opportunities. Classes meet weekly over a three-month semester.

FASTtrack
Why take years when you can put your career on the fast track? Most hospitality careers do not require two- or four-year degrees. FASTtrack classes meet daily on campus for five weeks.

Online Learning
Learn at your own pace from anywhere in the world using the same materials as classroom courses and with access to the same classroom instructors. Online courses are designed for those who prefer to learn on their own and on their own schedule. Courses are divided into easy-to-understand modules. Instructors are readily available to assist you. Most students complete their courses in three months, but you have up to six months to complete each course.
