Designed to provide participants with a foundation of knowledge on
wedding planning and the confidence to enter and succeed in the industry. This certificate program
prepares graduates for careers as independent wedding consultants, employment as planners with
hotels, resorts and special event companies, or for positions with allied businesses.
To receive the Certificate, participants must attend the 72-hour classroom program, complete a final
project and participate in an internship (waived for participants already in the industry). Classes are highly practical integrating classroom lecture, industry speakers, hands-on demonstrations and site visits.
