This series of ONLINE workshop sessions will introduce students to social media, and how it can be effectively used in business applications for marketing and public relation purposes. The workshop uses hospitality industry examples to demonstrate best practices and ideas. With 24/7 availability of the learning system, students can study on their own schedule.

Built for beginners and intermediate users, the workshop also provides tips and tricks for the more advanced user.
theLEARNING
The workshop is delivered via the advanced Adobe Acrobat ConnectPro system of audio/visual PowerPoints. The developer and presenter is Patti Shock CPCE. Professor Shock speaks widely on social media to national associations and at conferences. She is in charge of the TISOH Twitter site that has over 12,000 followers, amassed in less than 4 months.
Patti Shock makes herself available to assist students with queries. Learning at TISOH is never a solitary experience!
